Planning for mission trips are becoming a reality!
We have reserved a spot for September 14-18, 2020 to go to Red Bird Mission in Kentucky.
If you would like more information contact Pastor Evelyn or Nancy Leemkuil, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We need $50/ person deposit to reserve your spot. Looks like a great opportunity to serve God
Local Food Pantry
As I set inside my warm house today, I’m watching it snow and the wind blow outside. I’m so grateful I have enough warm clothing, and good food to nourish me and help me stay warm. We try to help people in our communities who need things, especially food. Needs this month are hot and cold cereals, pasta sauce, saltine crackers, and canned pears, peaches and apple sauce. We are also giving out the following paper products: tissues, paper towels, and toilet paper. We appreciate all the items you contribute, and all who help at the food pantry. Stay warm this winter. Enjoy it’s beauty.
Thank you for your continued support of this community wide ministry.
For the month of February we will collect the following items: for our InGathering kits
Personal Dignity Kit– Sturdy combs (no picks or rattail combs) and razors (that includes a guard).
For the Student School Kits– we are collecting pencil erasers (erasers need to be 2 inches or longer). We hope you will consider contributing. We will collect 1 or 2 items for each kit each month and in October we will have all the items. There will be a tub in the Courtyard to place donations. We would like to see this be an effort of the entire congregation. If we all pitch in a little, we can do a lot!
